Our History

Founding of IKON - Jerry and Kristen founded IKON in January of 2010. They combined their entrepreneurial spirit and love of the industry to create a first in class freight brokerage company.

Expanded with IHUNT Motor Freight, our asset based division. Here we focus on larger commercial shipments. IKON further expanded with the opening of IRAY logistics in October of 2011.

IKON Expanded with the opening of Brooke-IT Brokerage Inc., Claire-IT Carriers, Inc., and Paige IT Transport, Inc. All of these companies are loosely based on Jerry and Kristen's daughter's middle names.

Early in 2013, IKON acquired Mission First Logistics. In September, IKON Acquired Milton Logistics, Inc. In October of 2013, IKON successfully moved their 10,000th load as an organization.

In 2015, IKON doubled in sales volume.

IKON celebrated ten years of business! IKON also acquired Adam James Logistics in May. IKON successfully navigated the shipping and logistical complications of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

IKON acquired JAM Transfer which also specializes in governmental freight.

IKON relocated to the historic Parker Pen building in downtown Janesville, WI, after thirteen years in their prior building. In July of 2023, Jerry and Kristen’s middle daughter Konner joined the business. Soon after in November, their eldest daughter Hunter joined the family business as well.

In 2024, IKON reached 100,000 loads successfully being moved. IKON looks forward to working with you for all of your transportation needs!
