Our Leadership

Jerry is the Founder of IKON Transportation Services. Prior to IKON, he has worked in the transportation industry most of his life. As early as 14 years old, Jerry was working the docks and assisting with pick-up and delivery services for his family owned business, JM Transfer, an agent to American Freight. Upon graduating from Eastern Illinois University, Jerry continued on in the industry when he took a job with Roadway Package System, now widely known and recognized as FedEx Ground. Jerry traveled all over the country managing different terminals and operations until he took a short hiatus from transportation. After two years working for a printing company in Southern California, Jerry moved back to Wisconsin to manage a small truck load carrier, which grew into a big business.

Leveraging all of his industry knowledge, Jerry started IKON in 2010. IKON stands for “I KNOW ONE NAME in Transportation” to convey the idea that IKON is the go-to solutions provider in the transportation industry. Since then IKON has grown tremendously, and Jerry is excited to welcome his children into the business.

Jerry currently splits his time between Wisconsin and Arizona with his wife, Kristen, visiting their grown children.

Kristen, a dynamic leader with a rich background in education and entrepreneurship, seamlessly bridges the worlds of academia and business. Graduating with a Bachelors in Special Education and a focus in early childhood and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction. She has held several leadership positions in Illinois, Iowa, California, and Wisconsin. In 2007, Kristen developed and coordinated the Preschool 4 Janesville program (P4J), which is a 4-year old kindergarten program, in the School District of Janesville. With thirteen years of experience as an esteemed elementary school principal, and nearly three decades in education Kristen fostered an environment of growth and excellence. Her dedication to education and nurturing young minds shaped the lives of countless students and inspired a community. After retiring from education, Kristen now stands as the proud woman owner of IKON Transportation Services.

Outside of work, Kristen’s greatest joy comes from spending quality time with her cherished family. Together Kristen and Jerry split their time between Wisconsin and Arizona.

Dave started with IKON in June of 2010. He originally came to IKON while completing his degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Marketing. Dave comes from a family in transportation having a grandfather, father, uncle, and a brother in the industry. Currently, he leads our sales force and specializes in Department of Defense freight.

Dave resides in Wisconsin with his wife and 2 children.

Konner joined IKON in July of 2023, bringing a background in private equity, recruiting and operations from her time at Pinnacle Group and Retina Consultants of America. In her previous role, Konner honed her skills in strategic planning, team leadership, and stakeholder management. With a BA in Psychology and an MBA from Baylor University, Konner is proud to be the second generation in her family business.

Committed to driving IKON forward, Konner’s focus is on growth, customer satisfaction, and employee development, while upholding IKON’s legacy of excellence.

Konner lives in Wisconsin with her husband and son.

Hunter became IKON’s Controller in November of 2023. Prior to that, she worked for RSM’s Washington National Tax (WNT) team in Compensation & Benefits focusing on transaction-related compensation issues such as Section 280G and taxation of executive compensation. Prior to working for the WNT, Hunter worked on RSM’s Business Tax Compliance team focusing on Government Contracting Private Equity based clients.

In college, Hunter worked for IKON and did the bank reconciliations. Hunter graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Accountancy and a Masters in Taxation. She is a Certified Public Accountant and avid reader.

Hunter lives in Arizona with her husband and children.
